Step 5.
This is the 2nd part of this Flash tutorial. Next, we're going to create some content pages for the menu buttons to change to. For this tutorial, I'm going to use some colorful striped images with text for each section. Place the 1st page of content on a new layer called "pages" and convert it an MC called "pagesMC.
 
 
Step 6.
Double click on "pagesMC" and create a new layer called "labels".
 
Step 7.
Create a blank key frame (F7) at frame 10 on both of the layers and add a second piece of content on the pages layer. Create a label for the 1st section. The label will be the same text that will appear for it's corresponding button.
 
Step 8.
Add some content and a label for each section
Step 9.
Next, go back to the main timeline and give "pagesMc" the instance name "pages"
OK, so now all the buttons have been added. You can download what's been done so far from here. Next go to part 3 of this Flash tutorial, where we will start writing the Actionscript.
