| This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, highlight the "Stripes" layer set, in the layers panel, and choose the transform tool (edit > transform > rotate) which will allow you to rotate the 2 stripes together. Enter -45 degrees as the value in the box at the top of Photoshop. Move the 2 stripes so that they cover the top left of the text. |

| Duplicate the stripes (a), so that the whole of text is covered. Next highlight the "Stripes" layer set again and change the blending mode to Overlay (b). |

| Merge the red stripes into a single layer, by linking them together (a) and going to layer > merge linked. Do o the same to the blue stripes and duplicate the blue stripes layer |

| Adjust the hue, of the duplicate blue stripes, by -100. Flip the newly colored stripes horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal) |

| Select the original text (select > lod selection) and fill a new layer with grey (474747) |

 |
|
| Feather (Select > Feather) and Contract (selection modify > contract) the selection by 7, and deleted the selected area. |
