| This is the 3rd part of the tutorial to create an animated pixel art character, using Photoshop and Image Ready. Next, create a new layer called main-body) and create the upper part of the body (images a & b). On the same layer create the face and hair (images c & d). |

| Add some eyes, eyebrows, a nose and a small mouth (images a & b). You should now have 3 layers for the character. On a new layer create the an arm, duplicate it and then flip it horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal). Name the layers arm-1a and arm-1b. |

| We've just created all the parts required for frame 1 of the character, so now we're going to create the parts needed for frame 2. Make the arms invisible and, on another new layer, create some squinting closed eyes (image a). Create 2 slightly elevated arms on new layers, named arm-2a and arm-2b. |

| Next we're going to create the parts for frame 3), so make the arms invisible and then create a new layer. Name the new layer arm-3a and then create an arm pointing to the left. Duplicate the layer, name it arm-3b and then flip it horizohntally (edit > transform > flip horizontal). Create some closed eyes (image b) on new layer, named closed-eyes. Make the 1st set of legs invisible and then create some elevated ones (images c & d). |
