| This is the final part this Photoshop tutorial to create a blueGlow Layout. Next, in the main content area, create a curved path on a new layer (image a). Set the brush to 7 hard, the foreground color to C5C5C5, and then right click on path layer in it's corresponding panel. Choose "stroke path" from the menu, and it should create a thick curved line, as shown in image b). |
| |
| |
| NMake a selection using the curved line and fill a new layer with a darker grey (525252), Feather (select > feather) the selection by 1 pixel , contrac (select > modify > contract) it by 2 and then delete the selected area. You'll then be left with a shaded thick line. |
| Next, distort (edit > transform > distort) the line with the transform tool, as shown in image a). Place the distorted shape inside a new layer set, make the layer set's opacity 55%, and then rotate the shape by 60 degrees (image b). |
| Set the blending mode of the layer to color dodge, duplicate it, and the place it as in image b). |
| Duplcaite the 2nd one and place it like in image a), then duplicate the 3rd one, placing it like in image b). |
| Lastly, duplciate the the 4th shape, placing it like in image a). Next, move the layer set to the top and over the header graphic. Change the order of it in the layers panel, so that's it's beneath the content layers (image b). |
| Next duplicate the layer set and move it over to the left side. Flip the layer set horizontally ( edit > transform > flip horizontal) and then rotate it by -20 degrees. |

| Use the eraser tool, set to 40% opacity, to erase the curved ends of the long shapes. |
| Next, add some menu buttons and your content. For the menu buttons i've used verdana, 9pt, sharp, with 50 tracking. Give the menu text a shadow (layer > layer style > drop shadow), with the settings shown in image b). |
| For the content text, i've used verdana 10pt, with a dark blue (81A5B2) for the color. And that's the end of this Photoshop tutorial to create a trendy blue layout! |
