| This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create a ball being bounced from left to right. |

| Start off by making a new photoshop document, with dimensions of 240x170 and a white background. Make a new layer, select the gradient tool and then set it to radial gradient. Set the foreground to light grey (E0E0E0) and the background to dark (5C5C5C). Zoom in to 200%, create a circular selection and the drag from the center to the bottom, to create the gradient. |

| Select the custom shape tool and choose the solid hexagon. Create a grey (B6B6B6) one, as shown in the image below and then go to Part 2 of this Photoshop tutorial. |

| Next, duplicate the hexagon and then increase the lightness (image > adjustments > hue/saturaion) of it by 30% (image b). Make a selection using the original dark one, contract (select > modify > contract) the selection by 1 pixel and then delete the area, leaving a border (image c). |

| Duplicate the border and place them like in image a), then do the same with the solid shape (image b). Merge all the layer hexagons together and then change the blending mode of the layer to overlay, and you should end up with something like in image c). |
