This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create a text effect with barbed wire.
Step 1.
Start off by making a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 300x300, and a black background. Create some large grey (787878) text, using Arial Black/ 150pt /sharp. Apply the bevel and emboss layer style (layer > layer style > bevel and emboss) on the text, using the settings shown when clicking on image b).

Step 2.
Make a selection using the text, contract (select > modify > contract) it by 8 pixels and fill a new layer with a very dark grey (343434). Next, go to [ Part 2 ] of this Photoshop tutorial.
