  Corporate Layout
This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create a professional corporate layout. Click on the image below to see the whole layout.

  Step 1.
Create a new document with 750 width and 630 height. First, we're going to create the top left rectangle. Click on the image below to see the actual size.

  Step 2.
Create a new layer and then choose the Rectangular Marquee Tool (shown in image a). Make a selection, as seen in Step 1's image, and then choose the Gradient Tool from Tools. Select FFCE2E as your background color and FFDC67 as you foreground color (shown in image b). Select the Linear Gradient from the top menu (shown in image c). Create a subtle gradient, by dragging from the bottom of inside the rectangular selection up to the top of the selection.

  Step 3.
Next create a rectangle with a blue gradient, as shown in the image below (Click on it to view the full size), with 3498D1 as the foreground and 0171B2 as the background.

  Step 4.
To keep it professional looking it's important to line up everything nicely like in image a). Next create another rectangle using 707F68 as the color (image b).

  Step 5.
Now we're going to create the buttons. For this tutorial I've made 4, but you can tailor the amount to your needs. The 4 buttons will look like in the image below after the next few steps.

  Step 6.
Create a new layer, make a rectangular selection and then fill it with 6CBD42.

  Step 7.
Create a 2nd button layer and zoom in. Make another rectangular selection, shown in the image below, and then change the foreground to B3D9A5 and the background to 78C057. Drag from the top of the selection down to the bottom to create a gradient, starting with the lighter green.

  Step 8.
Make the 1st button layer invisible and then create a new layer.

  Step 9.
Make a selection, as shown below, and then make the foreground 87CB5F and the background 65B83D. You'll need to drag up to make this gradient.

  Step 10.
Zoom out again, and you should have something like below. Merge the 3 button layers together by highlighting the first one in Layers panel and then going to Layer > Merge Down. Do this twice that all 3 are merged together.

  Step 11.

Next, duplicate your new button layer 3 times, by right clicking on it in the Layers panel, and then choosing Duplicate Layer.

For the large text in the yellow section, I've used 7D7F68 as the color and Verdana at 26pt in size. For the small text I've used 9B9F75 as the color and Verdana at 10pt.

For the text in the blue section, I've used Helvetica Neue, 55 Roman, 18pt for the top part and Helvetica Neue, 75 Bold, 26pt. If you don't have this font, it's not that important so just use something similar.

  Step 12.

Now we're going to add the image of the man running. The image was downloaded from the stock photography site: www.sxc.hu . They offer a large quantity of royalty free images, but you'll need to sign up if you haven't already done so. This particular image can be found < here >

The running man image is quite large so I resized it to 200 x 267. Use the Magic Wand Tool with a tolerance of 30 to remove the white.

  Step 13.
You should end up with something like below.

  Step 14.
Make him face left by going to Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal

  Step 15.
To resize the image man to fit in the blue section go to Edit > Transform > Scale.
