| This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, choose the "ornament 3" custome shape and create a white version of it over each letter. For thinner letters, such as "i", create a larger shape, but only place some of it overlapping. We're only going to use the thick borders of the shape. |

| Use the rectangular marquee tool to delete the pattern within the borders of the shape and then use the original text to make a selection. |

| Use the selection to cut a new layer (layer via cut), delete the rest and change the blending mode of the layer to overlay. |

| Make a selection of the original text again, expand (select >modify > expand) it by 1 pixel and fill a new layer with a dark grey (474747). Feather ( select > feather) and contract the selection by 7 pixels and delete the area that's selected (image b). |
