Step 7.
This is the final part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, duplicate the horns, placing the duplicate slightly higher, so that it fits nicely on top of the text. The orginal should still be overlapping the text. Merge the duplicate with the text and then apply the bevel and emboss layer style (layer > layer > style > bevel and emboss), using the settings shown by clicking on image b). Next, make a selection using the text, feather (select > feather) it by 5 pixels and then contract (select > modify > contract) it by 7. Fill the selection with bright red (FD0000), on a new layer. Now change the blending mode of the layer to "screen" and reduce it's opacity to 60% (image d).

Step 8.
Next, make all the layers invisible, apart from the original horn. Make a selection, like in image a), with the bottom of it in line iwht the bottom of the horn. Make the text visible again and then use the selection to delete the area of text selected. Make another selection to delete the rest of the top.

Step 9.
Now make the feathered, bright red layer visible again. As you can see the horns now have some depth. Make a selection using the text and then fill a layer below it with dark red (971414). Nect, we're going to create the devil tail, so zoom back in to 200% and then create a red oval, on the left side of the "D" and on a new layer. Move the selection to the top right, like in image c), and then delete the area selected.

Step 10.
Next create arrow (image a), using the custom shape tool, and then rotate it, like in image b). Use the rectangular marquee tool to delete the end of the curve, so that it fits against the letter, but overlapping the dark red border. Merge the arrow witht the curve and then apply the same bevel and embossl settings shown when click in image c).
