| This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create devlish text. |

| First of all, make a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 600x250 and a black background. Create some large red (FF0000) text in a new layer set, using something like Arial Black / 150pt / sharp. Next use the custom shape tool to create the arrow circled in blue. Use the transform tool (edit > transform > scale) to scale the arrow to be as thick as the "L", making the tip in line with the end of the letter (image c). |

| Duplicate the arrow, rotate it by 90 degrees clockwise (edit > transform > rotate 90 CW), and then scale it to fit the "I". Next go to [ Part 2 ] of this Photoshop tutorial. |
