Step 13. |

Next, create some thin horizontal rectangles

We want this section to look like a grid, so create a couple of vertical rectangles. Create another new layer and then make a shape, like in image b), using the polygonal lasso tool. Again, create a reflected gradient to make the shape look shiny looking.

Step 15. |

| |
To finish off the head part of the Dalek, make a selection using the elliptical marquee tool. Make sure that the top half of it spans the width of the shiny shape below. Create a radial gradient and then chop the bottom off using the rectangular marquee tool. Lastly, we're going to create the Dalek's suction type weapon.

Make a new layer and then create two thin rectangles and an oval, as shown below.

Create another layer below and then, using the polygonal lasso tool, create the shape shown in the image below. Finally create a second suction weapon on the Dalek's head.
