Step 3.
This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, duplicate the gradient layer, use the transform (edit > transform) tool to scale the width to 80%, and then use distort (edit > transform > distort) to bring the bottom corners inwards (image b). Now we're going to make the left arm, which we will later duplcate for the right arm. So make a new layer set, naming it left arm, and then create a new layer inside of it. Make path layer, and then use the pen tool to create a curve (image c).

Step 4.
Set the foreground color to dark grey (545454) and the brush diameter to 40 (image a). Highlight the layer within the "left arm" layer set, right click on the path layer in the path panel, and then choose "stroke path" to covert the path into a 40pixel thick curve. Make a selection using the curve, feather (select > feather) it by 5 pixels, contract (select > modify > contract) it by 9 pixels and then fill it with a lighter grey (B4B4B4). Create a reflected gradient in rectangular selection and on a new layer (image d).
