| This is the 3rd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, we're going to create the curved lines along the arm, so create a dark grey (434343) oval on a new layer (image b). Nudge the selection up twice with the arrow key and then delete the selected area. Duplucate the 1st curved line and then rotate it by 80 degrees (image d) |

| Make another copy, rotating it and placing it inbetween the 1st two. Repeat this a few more times, merge all the curves together, make a selection of the main thick layer and use it to cut (layer via cut) the thinner lines. Delete area outside of the thicker layer and then change it's blending mode to overlay. Zoom in to 200% and then create a reflected gradient (image c), using light grey (D9D9D9) for the foreground and dark (484848) for the background. Then use the distort tool (edit > transform > distort) to make it like in image d). |
