| This is part 3 of this Photoshop tutorial. Next's we're going to create the groove in the head of the screw. Create a small rectangular selection in the center and at the top, and then delete the area selected (image a). Make a rectangular selection over the left hand side, covering a pixel wide area, and then adjust the lightness by -30. Do the same to right, this time adjusting the lightness by +30. |

| Make a new layer, and create a 2 pixel high, light grey (C2C2C2) line, like in image a). On the same layer, create a darker grey (8A8A8A) line above the 1st one. |
