This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to draw a knife.

| First of all create a new photoshop document with a black background and then zoom to 300%. Create a new layer and path and then choose the pen tool. Make a line and then a curve slightly inwards inwards . Drag the bottom part of the directional line inwards, using the convert point tool, and then switch back to the pen tool. Next, create another curve, as shown in image a). Next make a long curve for the sharpest side of the blade, and then finally join the last point with the 1st point. Should now have something like in image c) now. |

Next select the reflected gradient tool, with FFFFFF for the foreground and B1B1B1 for the background. Drag the gradient tool from the cent down as far as the red arrow in image a). Zoom in to 500% magnification and then, using the rectangular marquee tool , delete a pixel wide section, as shown in image b). Nudge the selection below the gap, using the arrow keys, and then fill it with a light grey. Do this a total of 3 times. |
