| Make a new document in Photoshop. Create a new layer and then make an oval shape with the Eliptical Marqee tool. Fill it with orange or another color of your choice. |
| Next we need to squash the bottom half to make the oval into more of an egg shape. Use the Rectangular Marquee tool over the bottom half of the oval, making sure the bottom side of the marquee is roughly inline with the bottom of the oval. |
| Next, use free transform tool (edit > free transform) |
| Move the bottom part of the transform tool until the shape is egg like. |
| Now you are going to create a pattern to be placed at the bottom of the easter egg. Make a new layer and then create another oval, but this time make it thin.Fill the oval with yellow. |
| Make another layer and then use the Rectangular Marquee to create a rectangle roughly big enough to fit 4 of the small yellow ovals in. |
| Fill the rectangle with the same shade of yellow used for the oval |
| Move the rectangle away so that you can see both shapes. |
| Move the oval just under half way into the rectangle. Make sure that the right hand edge of the oval is roughly inline with that of the rectangle. Select the oval by clicking on it's corresponding layer by going to select > reselect in the top menu. Now click on the rectangle's layer and press delete. |
| Click the yellow oval layer and move it away from the rectangle. From the previous step the rectangle should look like so. |
| Now move the oval layer to the left hand side, so that the right edge of it is inline with left edge of the dip. Merge the oval with the rectangle by clicking on which ever of the two is ordered first in the layers panel, by going to layers > merge down in the top menu. |
| There will be some excess, of the yellow shape, that needs to be cut. |
| Use the Rectagular Marquee to delete it. |
| Duplicate the new shape, by right clicking on it in the layers panel and choosing "duplicate layer" |
