| First of all, open a new Photoshop document with a black background. Create a new layer and choose the elliptical marquee tool (a). Create a selecton with the tool and fill the new layer with green (1C5945). Contract (select > modify > contract) the selection by 4 pixels and fill the same layer with a light blue (E3F4FD). |

| Make a selection of the circle again (select > load selection), this time contracting it by 9 pixels (b). |

| Set the foreground color to a dark blue (005E72), the background color to black, and choose the gradient tool (a). Choose the "linear gradient" (b) |

| Drag the gradient tool the length and direction of the red arrow (below). |
