| This is the 2nd part of the tutorial to create exploding text, using Photoshop & Image Ready, where we'll be expading some of the parts. Next, duplicate the layer in layer set 2 and then choose the transform tool (edit > transform). At the top of Photoshop, enter 120% for both height (H) and width (W), and press enter to apply the new size. |
| |
| |
| Move the layer, that we just expanded, up and left. Since we want to parts of the text to move smoothly, we need to make sure that we move each part consistently. So, to move the part of text up and left, press the shift key, press the left arrow key once, and then the up arrow key once. |
| |
| Duplice the layer that you just expanded and moved, and then increase its size to 120% also. |
| |
| Then move it up and left, using the arrow keys. |
| |
| Repeat this process with 5 more duplicates, giving a total of 8 layers in layer set "2". |
| |
| |
| Next, do the same thing with the layer in layer set "3", but this time move it down and right. |
| |
| Repeat the process until you have a total of 8 layers. |
| Next, make all the layers in sets 2 & 3 invisible, apart from the original layers (layer 4 & layer 7). |
