| This is the 3rd part of the tutorial to create exploding text, where we'll be animating all of the parts. Next, duplicate the layer in layer set 2 and then choose the transform tool (edit > transform). Next open the file up in Image Ready and make layer set 1 visible again. |
| |
| |
| Change the delay of frame 1 to 0.1 seconds. |
| |
| Make layer set "2" & "3" invisble for now. We're going to name each part with the intials of the direction that they will move in, so name the first part (layer 2) "LU", which stands for Left & Up. This part is circled on white and red. |
| |
| Next, create a 2nd frame, moving the part, called "LU" over the top left, circled in blue. |
| |
| Name the next part (layer 3) "D" for down. |
| |
| |
| Move this part down the position circled in blue. |
| |
| Continue to name each layer moving them to different places outside of the visible area. |
| |
| So, now we have the start and end frames of the animation, we need to add the frames inbetween. To do this we use the "tween" function, by clicking on the icon circled in blue. Use the settings below, which will add 6 frames inbetween the start and end. |
| You should now have a total of 8 frames and, as you can see below, each one will show a stage of movement in the animation. |
