| This is the 3rd part of this tutorial to create a colorful, funky web layout. Here we'll be adding some spotty shapes to the header. So next, create a new folder called "circles". Make a new layer inside of the folder, and use the elliptical marquee tool to make a grey circle. Contract (select > modify > contract) the selection by 3 pixels. Set the foreground color to green and the background color to a slightly lighter shade. Use the gradient tool to create a linear gradient inside of the selection. |

| Duplicate the circles several times and place them over the black surved shapes (a). Merge the circles folder (layer > merge folder) into a single layer, and use a selection of the black shapes to cut (layer via cut) the circles layer. |

| Delete the layer of circles with the parts outside of the black shapes. |
