| This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial, to create a Funky Web Layout. Now that we've created the shape, we can now make some duplicates of it with varying colors, poisition, and opacity. Duplicate the shape layer and adjust it's color (Image > Adjustments > Hue / Saturation). You can create a black one by adjusting the hue/saturation to -100. Before you create any more duplicates of the shape, make a group called "shapes" and place the shapes into it. From the layers panel move the group below backkground layers. |

| Create enough duplicates of the shape to make a nice header, as shown below (a). Now create a new layer inside a group called "pink shapes", above all the other layers. Zoom in to 200% and use the elliptical marquee tool to create a grey cirlce (b) obove one of the shapes. |

| Contract ( Select > Modify > Contract) the selection by 4 pixels and use the gradient tool to create a pink linear gradient, on the same layer. Duplicate spots layer, and resize (edit > transform > scale) a few of them (b) |

| |
| Merge (layer > merge group) the group into a single layer (a). Use the shape below to create a selection. You'll have to click on it in the layers panel to create a selection (select > load selection). In the layers panel, click back on the pink shapes layer, and use the selection to cut into the layer (layer via cut). |
| Delete the layer of "pink shape" outside of the black shape (a). You can repeat this process to create other colorful shapes (b). |
