This is the 3rd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, set the foreground to white and background to dark grey (5A5A5A). Choose the gradient tool and set it to "reflected gradient". Create a rectangular selection and drag from the center of it to the right edge, to create the gradient on a new layer. Duplicate the layer, moving it above the original.

Zoom in to 300% and use the transform tool (edit > transform > distort) to distort the top tube, like in image a). Make a selection over the original tube.

Step 10.
Copy the selection into a new layer (layer via copy) and then increase it's darkness (image > adjustments > hue / saturation). Move it obove and then merge it with the 2 tubes. Duplicate the resulting layer so that you now have 2 of them (image b)
