| First of all, make a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 600x500. Set the foreground color to dark red (6F3733) and the background to a very dark red (30201E) and then fill the background layer with the color 6F3733 Create some clouds, by going to filter > render > difference clouds and then set the foreground to white and the background color to dark grey (4F4F4F). Use the gradient tool to great a reflected gradient on a new layer (image b). |

Use the transform tool to distort (edit > transform > distort) the gradient (image a) and then use the elliptical marquee tool to cut the layer into 2. |

| Delete the top left layer and then create a radial gradient on a new layer.. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Duplicate both gradients, flip them horizontally and then move them to the bottom of the canvas. Next go to [ Part 2 ] of this Photoshop tutorial. |
