  Step 10.
This is the 3rd part of this Photoshop tutorial to create a gallery layout. Next use the rounded rectangle shape tool, with a radius of 10, to make the first button. Rasterize the rectangle and then make a rectagular selelction to delete to bottom half, as shown in image a). Duplicate the layer for as many buttons as you need and then add some text. I've used verdana for the text in this tutorial. Next make a selection in the content area, below the header, and then create a new layer. Make a gradient using two slightly varied shades of light grey. Next, we're going to create the thumbnail borders, so create a new layer, zoom in to 200% and create a dark grey square.

Step 11.
Using the arrow keys, nudge the selection by 1 pixel down and to the right. Delete the contents of the selection, leaving two 1 pixel wide sides of the square. Duplicate the layer and then rotate it 180 degrees (edit > transform > rotate 180), as shown in image b).

Increase the brightness (image> adjustments > Brightness/Contrast) of the duplicate, so that it turns white. Merge the 2 layers together and then duplicate it for however many thumbnails you need

Add your thumbnails, a logo and a title for your section and then you're done. Hopefully you will now have a clean looking gallery layout, from this Photoshop tutorial!
