| You should now have a gold colored chain link |

| Apply the bevel and emboss (layer > layer style > bevel and emboss) settings shown in image a) and the inner shadow (layer > layer style > inner shadow) settings shown in image b). |

| You should now have something like below. |

| Place the chain link layer inside a new layer set (folder) called "chain" |
