Step 5.
This is part 2 of the photoshop tutorial to draw Kenny. Carrying on from creating the eyes of the character, make a selection out of the face shape, and then choose one of the eye layers. While the eyelayer is hilighted in the layers panel, right click on it and select layer via cut. Delete the outer part of the eye layer, making it look like part of it is covered by his coat. Repeat this process for the other eye and then add some small blak dots. You should end up with image c)

Step 6.
Use the eraser tool to turn the circle into a semi-circle. Duplicate the semi-circle, moving it to the right. Create a new layer underneath the semi-circles, and then use the brush tool to paint the tongue red.

Step 7.
Next, we're going to create the outline of his face. Make a large circle below the mouth and then use the elliptical marquee tool to cut out part of it, like in image a). Use the eraser tool to make the pointer corners a bit more round.

Step 8.
Make a new layer, create a large circle to the left of the face, and then contract the selection by 4 pixels. Use the eraser tool to delete the part shown in image b).

Step 9.
Next, were going to create Mario's big ears. Using the same technique as we've used for a lot of the other parts, create a circle to the left and contract the selection by 4 pixels. Then erase the part of the circle so that it looks like the one in image b).

Step 10.
Use the same technique to create a smaller semi circle on the top right of the ear part. Then, for the top part of the head, create a large oval shape spanning across the eyes. Again, contract the oval by 4 pixels and delete the selected area. We only want to keep ¼ of the large oval, so use the polygonal lasso tool to make a selection, as shown in image b). Delete the contents of the selection.

Step 11.
Next, duplicate the top part of the head, flip it horizontally and then line it up to the right hand side. Continue to duplicate each part of the face we create for the left hand side, including the ears and the cheek. Flip them all horizontally and them merge all the face outline parts together. Once you've done that, you'll be able to select the centre of the face outline, using the magic want tool. Create a new layer below the outline and then fill it with peach. You should end up with something like in image a).

Step 12.
Next, merge all the eye layers together and fill the part, shown in image b), with white. Next, go to part [Part 3]of this Photoshop tutorial.
