This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial to create a modern layoutt. Next, duplicate the 2nd gradient filled rectangle, as shown in image a). For another menu section, duplicate all the menu buttons including the top rounded one, and then move them below (b). To the right of the menu buttons, create a larger rounded rectangle with a suble gradient, using 66848B for the foreground and 596E73 for the background. This area will be for the main content. |

| Duplicate the ontent area for a second area below it and then create a thinner rectangle, using 505C61 for the color. Next for a bit of decoration, zoom in to 200% and create a circular shape, using the elliptical marquee tool. |

| Contract (select > modify > contract) the selection by 2 and then fill it with a darker orange. Create a few more round shapes , like in image b). Next add a logo. For this one i've used 24pt BorisBlackBloxx, with a peach color, any thick font will work just as well, like Arial Black. Then i made a rectangular selection and cut the the bottom, using layer via cut. |
