Pacman Avatar Photoshop Tutorial - Part 2   <Pacman Tutorial Part 1
  Step 5.
  This is part 2 of the photoshop tutorial to make an animated Pacman avatar. Next we're going to create the barriers for the avatar, so make a new layer and then make a blue rectangle in the space shown in image a). Zoom in more and then use the pencil tool to erase the ends of the rectangle, like in image b - d.

  Step 6.  
  Using the same technique, create the two other shapes.

  Step 7.  
  Merge the 3 shapes togther and then make a selection out of the shape. Contract the selection by 1 pixel and then fill them with a brighter blue. Contract the selection by a further 2 pixel and then use feather with 1 pixel, Fill the selection with a lighter blue, and you should end up with something like in image c)

  Step 8.  
  Now we're going to make the first ghost, so create a new layer. First off all create a reed rectangle and then use the pencil eraser tool to make the pattern, a seen in image a). Make a new layer and then create a red circle using the elliptical marquee tool. Use the rectangular marquee tool to chop off the bottom and then merge the 2 layers together. Next, make the eyes with a pixel wide pencil tool.

  Step 9.
  Duplicate the ghost, adjusting the hue by going to image > adjustments > hue/saturation. Next we're going to create Pacman, comprising of 8 frames. Create a new folder, named "open", with a new layer in it and then make a yellow circle on that layer. Duplicate the yellow circle and put it in another new folder name "closed".

  Step 10.
  On the layer in the "closed" folder, make a black rectangle for the mouth. On the layer in the open folder, use the pencil tool to color in a open mouth.
