| This tutorial will show you how to create text with a scrolling background. |
| First of all, create some grey (CACACA) thick text in a new layer set and on a black background. I've used Arial Black 200pt. Fill a new layer with orange (FF7C00) and then use the rectangular marquee tool to create a blue strip on the same layer. |
| |
| Create several more strips with varying width and then move the layer below the text, outside of the layer set. |
| Make a selection using the light grey text, expand (select > modify > expand) it by 5 pixels and then fill a layer below the grey text with dark grey (4C4C4C). Make a selection using the light grey text again and then fill a new layer above it with dark grey (525252). |
| Feather (select > feather) and contract (select > modify > contract) it by 7 pixels and then delete the area that's selected. Then go to of this Photoshop tutorial. |
