| This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create a sparkle text effect. |

| First of all make a new Photoshop document, and zoom in to 200%. For this tutorial I've made the dimensions 80x80 for the character "G", but make it how ever big you like according to the text you want. Make the letter(s) using a thick font (I've used ITC Kabel here) and then make a selection out of the text. Expand the selection by 1 pixel and then choose the gradient tool. Make a new layer, set the foreground to dark red (952501) and the background to a brighter red (D73700), and then create a linear gradient, dragging upwards. |

| Next, make a selection out of the orginal text and then contract the selection by 1 pixel. On a new layer fill the selection with E71515 and then set the background to CA0909. Use the noise filter (Filter > Noise > Add Noise), setting the distribution to Gaussian and the amount to 8%. |

| Set the gradient tool to foreground to transparent in the gradietn editor. Set the foregroud to a yellow orage color (FEB727) and then, on a new layer, create a gradient by dragging from the top to just outside the bottom of the document. Set the foreground to A65E1B and then on a new layer fill the selection. Contract and feather the selection by 3 and then delete the contents of the selection. |

| You should now have something like in image a). Next use the polygonal lasso tool to create a white triangle on a new layer and then duplicate it. Flip it vertically, by going to edit > transform > flip vertical, and then move them together like in image c). |

| Merge the 2 triangles together, duplicate the layer and then rotate it 90 degrees. Now merge the layers together again and you should have your first star. Use the transform tool to scale the star down, duplicate the star a few times, and then spread them around. |

| Take 1 of the large stars and resize it by about 70% and then duplciate it a few times. Repeat this process a couple more times so that you have varying sizes of star. Zoom back out again. |

|
| And that's all there is to it. You should now have created some sparkle text! |
