| This Photoshop tutorial will show you how to create spiky text. |

| First of all , make a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 500x180, and a black background. Create some large grey (9A9A9A) text , using something like Arial Black/ 150pt /sharp. Apply the bevel and emboss layer style (image b) on the text. |

| Now reduce the opacity of it to 30%. Make a selection using the text, contract (select > modify > contract) it by 9 pixels and then fill it with a very light grey (F3F3F3) on a new layer. |
