| This is part 3 of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, scale the width of the top section to 85%, using the transform tool (edit > transform > scale) then adjust the levels to the settings shown, when clicking on image a). Use the distort tool (edit > transform > distort), to bring the top corners to the center (image b). Create a circular selection, use it to cut the layer into 2 and then delete the bottom section. |

| So that's the first spike create. Now zoom out and duplicate it, placing them on various part of the letter. Rotate some by 90 degree (edit > transform > rotate 90 CCW, as shown in image a). Rotate some by 50 and -50 degrees, as shown in image b). Make the duplicate of a 90 degree rotated spike, flip it horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal) and then reduce it in size to 50%. |
