Step 5.
This is the 2nd part of the tutorial. Create a new layer set (called group in Photoshop CS and later) called "spots", above all the other layers, and create new layer in side it. Make a selection using the Elliptical Marquee Tool, and fill it with a dark red (be4d01), as shown in image a). Contract (slect > modify > contract) the selection by 2 pixels and fill the same layer with a light yellow (ffffdb), as shown in image b).
a)   b)

Step 6.
Against, contract the selection by 3 pixels and fill teh same layer with a darker yellow (ecc200). Duplicate the layer multiple times, spreading it around, as shown in image b).
a)   b)
Step 7.
Use the transform tool (edit > transform > scale) to shrink one of the duplicates and duplicate it too, as shown in image a). Repeat the process bu make a smaller version and duplicate that also.
a)   b)
Step 8.
You should now have many spot layers inside of the "spots" layer set / group. We need to make all the spots be on a single layer so click on the spots layer set, from the layers panel, and merge it into a single layer (layer merge layer set / group).
a)   b)
Step 9.
Now that all the spots are on one layer, make a selection using the black stencil, and use the election to cut the spots (layer via cut). Delete the left over outer area of the spots and you should end up with image b).
a)   b)
And that brings us to the end of this Photoshop tutorial
