| Start off by making a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 260x220, or bigger if you'd like to create text with more than 2 letters. Create some text using the settings below (image b) |

| Apply the bevel and emboss layer style (layer > layer style > bevel and emboss) to the text, using the settings shown below. |

|
|
|
|
| You should have something like the image below. |
|
|
|
|
|
| Now make a selection using the text (select > load selection > ok) |
|
|
|
|
|
| Expand the selection (select modify expand) by 5 pixels and fill a new layer below with grey |
