| This is the final part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, zoom in to 200% and create a new path layer. Choose the pen tool and create 1st point of the path (image a). Create the 2nd point, dragging the directional line to create a curve. Choose the "Convert Point Tool" and drag the left segment of the directional line to the center (image c). |
| |
| |
| Create a 3rd point, producing a 2nd curve, and do the same thing to the directional line. |
| |
| Join the 3rd point back to the 1st to complete the path, make a selection using the path and then fill a new layer with white. Create a 2nd path, but this time make it a bit thinner. |
| |
| Again, fill a selection of the path with white, on another new layer. Duplicate the shape and use the transform tool (edit > trasform) to rotate it clockwise a bit. Duplicate the 1st, thicker curve. |
| |
| Flip it horizontally (edit > transform > flip horizontal) and then rotate it abit. Use the rectangular marquee tool to chop off the bottom part, merge the curved shapes into 1 layer and then duplicate the new layer. |
| |
| Flip it horizontally, placing it to the right and mirroring the left hand side one. Reduce the opacity of both of the layers to 50%. For the navigation bar, create a rounded rectangle with a radius of 50. Use white for the foreground and light grey (DDDDDF) for the background color to create a linear gradient on the rounded rectangle. |
