This is the 2nd part of this Photoshop tutorial to create a swinging pendulum. Zoom in to 300% and then make a radial gradient, by dragging from the center of a circular selection. On a new layer, create a rectangular gradient and then duplicate it. Move the duplicate to the bottom and then use the transform tool (edit > transform > distort) to distort it like in image c). |

| Make another copy of the original gradient, move it to the bottom and then scale it vertically, using the transform tool. You should now have something like in image b). Finally, use the rectangular marquee tool to chop off the top part of the original gradient. |
