| This is the 3rd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Change the rectangle's blending mode to "multiply", reduce it's opacity to 70, and then delete the center, with a rectangular selection. Next, fill a new layer with a bright green (9EFF37), set the background color to dark green () and then apply difference clouds (filter > render > render clouds). You might need to rpeat the clouds filter to achieve a nice contrast of dark and light green, like in image b). Apply the ocean ripply filter (filter > distort > ocean ripple) and then make a rectangular selection (image c). Cut the selection into a new layer, delete the rest and then move it to the position shown in image d). |

| Use the transform tool to scale it to fit in the gap of the rounded rectangle. Make a selection of it, create a new layer and set it's blending mode to "overlay" and opacity to 70%. Set the foreground color to white, choose the reflected gradient and then use it to create a foreground to transparent gradient. You should end up with a glow in the center of the green layer (image d). Merge the glow with the green ripple layer. |
