| First of all, make a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 450x200 and a black background. Create a reflected gradient on a new layer and in a new layer set, using white for the foreground and dark grey (606062) for the background. Next adjust the levels, to the settings shown when clicking on image c) . Zoom in to 200%, use the rectangular marquee tool to select the top of the gradient layer and cut it into a new layer. Do this by right clicking on the layer in the layers panel and then choosing layer via cut. |
