| First, create a new Photoshop document with a black background. Using the rounded rectangle tool, create a dark grey (474848) rectangle for the header and one for the content area (image a) , with a radius of 10. Now create another even darker grey (3F3F3F) rectangle for the content area, using the rectangualr marquee tool. |

| Duplicate the line, nudge it 4 pixels right, using the arrow key and then merge the lines together. Create more lines, spacing them by 4 pixels until you have covered the orange rounded rectangle. Make sure all the lines are all merged together. Create a selection using the rectangle, and use it to cut (layer via cut) the lines. |

| Delete the line layer in the area outside of the rounded rectangle. Then go to [ Part 2 ] of this Photoshop tutorial. |
