Start off by creating a new Photoshop document with dimensions of 220 width by 180 height. Create a new layer set, from the layers panel, where you will create all the layers for this Photoshop tutorial. Make a rectangular selection on new layer, and then select the gradient tool. Set

for the background. Use the Reflected Gradient tool, dragging it the length and direction of the red arrow (image a). Next, make a black rectangle on a new layer, as shown in image b). Contract the selection (select > modify > contract) by 1 pixel, and then on another new layer create a 2nd reflected gradient. For this one, choose
