| A Photoshop tutorial to create a vista style web layout. |

| To start off open image a), or an image of your choosing, in Photoshop. Use the rounded rectangle tool to create a light green rectangle |

| Apply the bevel and emboss (layer > layer style> bevel and ebmboss) layer style on the rectangle, using the settings shown below. |

| From the layers panel, set the blending mode, for the layer, to Multiply and then create a new layer. Make a selection out of the rounded rectangle. Contract (select > modify > contract) and feather the selection by 2 pixels and then fill it with black. |

| Move the black layer below the rounded rectangle layer and then set it's opacity to 20%. This will give a shadow type glow to the edges on all sides. Next go to part 2 of this vista layout tutorial. |
