This is the 3rd part of this Photoshop tutorial. Next, duplicate the red layer and and flip it vertically (edit > transform > flip vertical). Move it slightly to the left and then erase the left end of it that pokes out .Create another duplicate of the original, this time rotate it down a bit and move it over to the right.

Zoom in to 400% and create another gradient using white and dark grey. Duplicate it twice and place them on the end of the wires.
