| This is the 2nd part of the tutorial to create wooden text, where we'll be applying the texture. Choose the pattern overlay layer style (layer > layer style > pattern overlay). Click on the current pattern, circled in red. |

| Click on the arrow circled in red, and choose 'texture fill'. Choose the 'bark' pattern, circled in green. using the settings shown below. Keep the scale at 100% and the 'link with layer' box checked. |

| You should now have something like below. |

| Next, make selection using the text. Expand (select > modify > expand) the selection by 5 pixels and fill a new layer below with dark grey (575757). |

| Apply the 'bevel and emboss' layer style (layer > layer style > bevel and emboss', using the settings shown below. |
