Step 10.
This is the final part of the tutorial to create wooden text. Expand Make a selection of the beveled border and expand it by 5 pixels, and fill a new layer below with the same dark grey (575757).
 
Step 11.
Make a selection, using the original text.
Step 12.
Fill a new layer on top with an even darker grey (303030)
Step 13.
Feather (select > feather) the selection by 5, and then contract (select > modify > contract) it by 5 also.
Step 14.
Delete the seleted area.
